The businessman says that, usually, he was told "outside their office" how much a service valued for obtaining some documents. According to Pennese, the last time, the Municipal Directorate of Architecture and Urbanism of Chisinau asked him for 3200 euros.
„I cannot understand why a foreign investor that brings money to Moldova, opens jobs for its citizens, faces such difficulties", Pennese stated.
The mayor of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca stated he had already ordered to begin investigation, as this is not the only case of this kind recorded in the Moldova. "We suppose there are some intermediary persons or some particular fraud schemes, but each time when we come to investigate such things, the victims withdraw their demand", Mayor Chirtoaca said.
Carlos Pennese has been staying in Moldova for one year. He intends to open a network of restaurants for children in the country.
