INFOTAG, 7 June 2010, 16:11

The Moldovan delegation at the negotiations will be headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman, and the European Union delegation - by the European Commission's Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Gunnar Wiegand.

On Tuesday, the negotiators will give a news conference.

Infotag's dossier: The EU-Moldova Association Agreement consists of three components - the Transnistrian settlement, visa regime liberalization, and creation of a zone of free trade between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova. The first round of negotiations took place in Chisinau in January 2010, and the second one - in Brussels in March. The Agreement is called to replace the EU-Moldova European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan that was completed in 2009.
