Chisinau, Bucharest to work out action plan for Moldova's Integration into Europe
Such proposal was put forward by Moldova's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Popov at a conference called "Romania and the Republic of Moldova in a New (Geo)Political Context: Possibilities, Challenges, Solutions", held in Bucharest on Monday.
Popov reviewed the Moldo-Romanian relations development over last 10 months, and spoke out for consolidation of the political dialog and for strengthening of the legal frame of relations between the two states.
The conference discussed the significance of the privileged partnership between Chisinau and Bucharest in the context of the European Union neighborhood initiatives. The forum participants highlighted the consolidation of the relations between the two countries in the economic, cultural and educational fields.
The Bucharest conference was organized by the European Institute of Romania and the IDIS-Viitorul Institute for Development and Social Initiatives of Moldova in collaboration with the Romanian office of the Conrad Adenauer Foundation.
