The main reason is probably the big amount of work to be done: cleaning the lake, preparing the beach, 2 sedimentation tanks and so on. A new auction will take place in 2 weeks. According to City Hall's plan, the lake will be filled with water in three steps.
The Valea Morilor project was approved by Chisinau Municipal Council on March 23 and was developed by Chisinauproiect Institute. The total cost of the works is estimated at 81 million lei.
