INFOTAG, 27 July 2010, 17:39

According to Chirtoaca, he met with the city mayors during his recent visit to China, and they showed interest in Moldovan wines. The Lianjiang Mayor called wine companies to provide China with wines in bulk, especially red wines.

The Chisinau Mayor said that Moldovan producers should discuss with interested companies all conditions concerning exports, amount and prices. Moldovan companies can agree on price and on wine amount with the city mayors.

Infotag's dossier: Presently, Moldovan wine companies have problems with the exports to Russia, the largest Moldovan wine buyer, because the RosPotrebNadzor [Russian federal supervisory agency for consumer goods quality] has stopped Moldovan wine certification under the pretext that it does not meet quality standards.
