20 parties have registered in the current election campaign. Many people say it is a too big number for such a small country as Moldova. At the same time, much more parties could take part in the election campaign.
„Moldova, champion of the region in term of European integration", experts
The statements were made by two experts during a radio program at „Vocea Basarabiei" radio post.
„After the change recorded on July 29, 2009, and consequent policies carried out over the last year by the new governing authorities, Moldova has become a successful project when speaking about its intention to join EU", Yan Peklo said.
According to the quoted source, the case of Ukraine that has changed its orientation vector after the last elections and tends more and more to join Russia from the economical point of view, is thoroughly examined in European strategic centers, as well as in other parts of the world.
„Now, Republic of Moldova is the champion in the region as far as accession to high political circles of Poland, as well as EU, is concerned. They say it intends to join the group of West Balkan countries intending to accede to European Union", Peklo stated.
In order for this intention to become real, Moldova should be stable at the referendum on September 5 and in the elections scheduled for November, Yan Peklo and Raluca Raducanu mentioned.
