Cosarciuc said the competent authorities, including the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption (CCECC), the National Tax Inspectorate, will investigate the case of illegal Brazilian meat importation.

According to Cosarciuc, Moldova produced in 1H2010 by 10 thousand tons of pork and chicken more than in January-June 2009. In spite of that prices raised on coarse grains, the sale coast of domestic meat went down", said the Minister.
