Constitutional Court validates four MP seats

The Constitutional Court Tuesday validated the seats of MP of Ana Vasilachi, former Chisinau councilor and former deputy head of the Chisinau Capital Constructions Division, Stefan Uratu, former presidential adviser, Vladimir Rotaru, former deputy head of Orhei district, and Grigore Cobzac, entrepreneur from Hancesti district.

"First of all, we must ensure stability because the central administration is thinking about elections, not about a better life for the people," Stefan Uratu said after the Court passed judgment. Stefan Uratu and Ana Vasilachi replaced former Liberals lawmakers Mihail Carlig and Mihai Moldoveanu

Vladimir Rotaru substituted Democrat Oleg Serebrian, who was recently named Ambassador to France. "An MP must observe the Constitution of Moldova, defend the human rights and work transparently," said the newly appointed lawmaker.

Grigore Cobzac will work as part of the Liberal-Democrat faction instead of Vitalie Nagachevski.
