Rospotrebnadzor accuses moldovan authorities of incapacity to supply qualitative wines
The agency said on it's website that 69 product samples (37 wine lots, 9 wine-material lots, 23 cognac lots with total amount of 664.7 thousand liters) were subjected to quality and safety monitoring during August 1-17 period. The RosPotrebNadzor revealed 3 wine lots (about 23.5 thousand bottles with total amount of 17.6 liters) produced by the Ungheni Vin company and the Integrated Factory Cricova which do not meet the sanitary commitments.
According to the statement, expert reports on lot incompatibility to sanitary regulations and standards are handed to importers and sent to the customs station Borovsky of the central excise customs to not allow these products entering Russian territory and to start reexportation procedure.
The RosPotrebNadzor said "in spite of measures took by the service to normalize the situation, Moldovan authorities take no measures to not admit alcohol imports into the Russian Federation territory which do not meet safety requirements; all this holds back further steps of nondiscriminatory Moldovan wine allowance and convinces us of necessity to go to direct contacts with business representatives".
