Mihai Ghimpu to issue decree condemning Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact

Acting President Mihai Ghimpu will condemn the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signed by the USSR and Germany on August, 23, 2010 by means of special decree issue.

In an interview with PublikaTV channel, Ghimpu said he will sign some decrees ahead of the Independence Day marked on August 27 and will award those who have fought for state independence.

He said he will demand Russia to give archives of the Moldovan Committee for State Security (KGB) that were evacuated to Transnistria in 1990-1992.
