OSCE PA delegation makes pre-election visit to Moldova

A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE led by Greek MP Petros Efthymiou is paying a pre-election visit to Moldova during March 16-17, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Parliament's press service.

2009-03-16/09:56/ Chisinau (IPN) The members of the delegation will have meetings with the Head of Parliament Marian Lupu, chairman of the Central Election Commission Eugeniu Stirbu, Minister of Justice Vitalie Parlog, Minister of the Interior Gheorghe Papuc, the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Philip Remler and other officials.

The program of the visit also includes meetings with leaders of the political parties running in elections and representatives of Moldovan nongovernmental organizations.

At the end of the visit, the OSCE delegation will hold a press conference.
