The event was attended by the Moldovan Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, who made a report at the forum.

During his 2-day visit to Berlin, Minister Leanca met with his German colleague Guido Westerwelle briefing him on latest events in Moldova, the progress of dialog with the European Union, on the Transnistrian question, and others.

Guido Westerwelle welcomed the changes and reforms taking place in Moldova, and confirmed Germany's readiness to back Moldova's course for Euro-integration.

Iurie Leanca also had meetings with German-Moldovan Forum President Manfred Grund and high-ranked officials from the German Bundestag and the Federal Chancellor Office.
