Meeting of AEI Council postponed

The meeting of the Council of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) was put off. After the Parliament’s sitting, the leader of the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group Valeriu Strelet told the press that in the afternoon he will have a meeting, which will also involve Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca. Thus, none of them will be able to attend the meeting of the AEI Council set to start at 4pm.

The meeting was convened by the PDM, which holds the presidency of the AEI in rotation. Next week, the PLDM will take over the presidency. Valeriu Strelet said the meeting of the AEI Council will take place on July 19.

The format of the AEI Council is 3+3+3. The PLDM is represented by Vlad Filat, Iurie Leanca and Valeriu Strelet, the PDM - by Marian Lupu, Dumitru Diacov and Valeriu Lazar, while the PL - by Mihai Ghimpu, Ion Hadarca and Mihai Moldovanu.
