20 parties have registered in the current election campaign. Many people say it is a too big number for such a small country as Moldova. At the same time, much more parties could take part in the election campaign.
Moldova's external debt increases by $57 million in 2011
According to Ministry of Finance data, it is explained by new credits that Moldova received, as well as fluctuations of U.S. dollar's exchange rate against other currencies.
Thus, Moldova obtained credits worth of US$58.66 million since the beginning of the year, including US$56.59 million in June.
The state assigned US$3.29 million for debts repayment. Fluctuations of U.S. dollar's exchange rate led to debt increase by US$36.15 million.
The external public debt of Moldova amounted to US$990.46 million on July 1, 2010 and US$775.1 million - on July 2009.
