Analysts admit democrats can find a decision find decision for election Moldovan President
Political analysts do not rule out that the democratic coalition, including the LDPM, the LPM, the DPM and the Moldova Noastra Alliance, will be able to find a decision for the election of the Moldovan President. They have totally 53 mandates, whereas it is necessary to have at least 61 votes to elect the State Head.
Monday evening, Executive Director of the Association for Active Democracy (ADEPT) Igor Botan remarked in the program " În Profunzime" on the PRO-TV-Chişinău that the decision on the election of the President may proceed from the business circles of the Communist zone.
Director of the Chisinau Bureau of the "Free Europe" radio Vasile Botnaru considers that some leading parliamentarians of the Communist Party may discuss unofficially the question that the "unchangeable' and "almighty" Vladimir Voronin must give up.
He was supported by Igor Botan, who said that the PCRM is a one-man party.
"If Vladimir Voronin withdraws from the political life, the Communist Party will have no chance to return to power, as it has no political leader, which is equal to Vladimir Voronin", the analyst said.
Another analyst - Petru Bogatu - said that the Communists revise the events from the side and try to work out the future strategy.
The Communist Party reminds me of a shop, a supermarket, where there is everything, but which is bankrupt. And now the party tries to work out careful measures for overcoming the crisis, in which the country found itself", he said.
