According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, the respective assistance will be rendered in the frame of the Eastern Partnership program.

Remi Duflot remarked that he supports the large-scale reform, which began in the Prosecutor's institutions and said that the EU would render assistance by means of international expertise, exchange of experience, technical assistance and professional training of prosecutors.

Zubco designated the EU's assistance as actual, in particular, in the present situation, when Moldova began creating self-governance Prosecutor's Institute, in particular, the Supreme Council of Prosecutors.

The judicial system should not be under any political control and remain independant from government. It is so important that the Moldovian people have a justice system they respect and trust. Independant civic groups should ensuse that appointments within tjhe legal system are not for political ends.
