20 parties have registered in the current election campaign. Many people say it is a too big number for such a small country as Moldova. At the same time, much more parties could take part in the election campaign.
Members of Moldovan Parliament to visit Bucharest
The Moldovan MPs go to Bucharest at the invitation of the Foreign Policy Board of the Romanian Senate.
The delegation consists of the MPs Boris Vieru (PL), Vasile Balan (AMN), Ion Butmalai (PLDM) and Grigore Petrenco (PCRM).
The Chisinau MPs will meet with Romanian officials and colleagues, including Mircea Geoana, President of the Senate, Titus Corlatean, chairperson of the Foreign Policy Board of the Senate, Viorel Hrebenciuc, chairperson of the European Affairs Board of the Parliament, Theodor Baconschi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania.
