To investigate the most heinous crimes of the twentieth century - genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, the international community has set up ad hoc tribunals such as the International Military Tribunals at Nuremberg and Tokyo, the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia. However, genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes remain a grim reality of the world today.

Speaker Mihai Ghimpu to make an official visit to Bucharest

The President of Chisinau Parliament, Mihai Ghimpu, will make an official visit to Bucharest in the first half of the current year.

On Tuesday, the president of the Bucharest Senate, handed over the chairperson of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Board of the Chisinau Parliament, Igor Corman, a letter containing the invitation addressed to Ghimpu.

A delegation of Moldovan MPs, headed by Igor Corman, is in a working visit to Bucharest, in the period between February 7 and 10.
