„A well-thought action plan was drawn up on April 7", PLDM deputy president

The deputy president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM), Mihai Godea, was heard for more than two hours at the General Prosecution as witness in "April 7" dossier.

Mihai Godea stated there was a well-thought action plan drawn up on April 7, in order to embezzle peaceful protests, cause violence in order to maintain PCRM to power by means of scaring people.

Godea also said there were some instigators among the young protestors, that have their faces covered and that cried some unionist slogans, although most of them were Russian speakers". According to the MP, the police refused to protect the two state headquarters. "Only 150 policemen had been sent to the very place of the riots. The special unit of firemen did not interfere to liquidate the fire in the Parliament building, although it did not need special cars for that, as the building had special equipments inside", Mihai Godea stated.

The PLDM deputy president stated he was in Marii Adunari Nationale Square on April 7, within the crowds trying to calm down the spirits, together with others of his colleagues.

The MP Calin Vieru (PLDM) has also been heard today in the same case.
