20 parties have registered in the current election campaign. Many people say it is a too big number for such a small country as Moldova. At the same time, much more parties could take part in the election campaign.
The government has prepared 15 measures for de-monopolization of the economy
"Followed by others that will be introduced before 2011", - said Lazar. He noted in particular the liberalization of access to infrastructure of electronic communication through monopolization of the market communications, including through restructuring of Moldtelecom, market liberalization of rail services and air transport, etc.
Lazar noted that in the context of market economy, there should be free competition. At the same time, the minister said, should be governmental regulation of the market. "The Obligation of the State is to determine solutions that will establish a balance between the interests of operators of the market", - said Lazar. Referring to the price of meat, Lazar said that it remained the same due to other factors. "This is a systemic problem.
It should be noted that the Program of Economic Stabilization and Development for 2009-2011 require 15 measures on de-monopolization of the economy, including such factors as reducing the number of activities subject to licensing and facilitation of the licensing procedures, improving mechanisms for authorizing international transportation, development of provisions of the Extradition and use permits (unilateral) on international road transport and removal of the administrative barriers in permits' issuing.
