A three-million dollar project for the rehabilitation of infrastructure and technical equipment of the Parliament
The total budget of the project is three million dollars. It is supported by the Danish Government, the Swiss Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AIDS) and UNDP Moldova.
The first set of computers (100) has been already delivered to the Parliament within the above-mentioned project.
The project was developed at the request of the Parliament to cover the urgent needs caused by the considerable destruction of infrastructure of the legislative body during the April 2009 events.
The launching ceremony of the project brought together the speaker Mihai Ghimpu, interim president, and Kaarina Immonen, resident coordinator of the United Nations Organization and Steady Representative of the United Nations Development Program.
