Official delegations from more than 20 countries are expected to Vilnius, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Parliament of Moldova. The Republic of Moldova is the first country that recognized Lithuania's independence. Speaker Mihai Ghimpu will deliver a speech in front of the former members of the Lithuanian Parliament who signed the Act of Independence on March 11, 1990.

On March 12, Mihai Ghimpu, alongside other delegates, will sign the Vilnius Declaration to constitute the Community of Democracies Parliamentary Forum. He will also have a meeting with representatives of the Moldovan community in Lithuania.
