Competition on Chisinau-Bucharest air line

The Air Moldova national operator declared on Friday that from March 28 it will make a flight from Chisinau to Bucharest every day.

The company introduced also additional evening flights on Mondays and Thursdays.

According to Air Moldova, the flights to Bucharest will be made on the basis of the code-share agreement with the Tarom company in an Airbus A320 airplane. The one-way ticket price is 55 Euros.

As Infotag has already reported, another Moldovan air company - Moldavian Airlines was recently declared as the second official carrier on the Chisinau-Bucharest-Chisinau line. The flights will also be made on the basis of code-share agreement with other carriers of this line.

The planes of Moldavian Airlines will flight from Chisinau to Bucharest daily. The line will be served by the planes Saab-2000 (50 seats) and Fokker 70 (80 seats). The one-way ticket price is 60 Euros.

Until the Moldavian Airlines company was declared the second national operator on the Chisinau-Bucharest-Chisinau line, the only company, which made flights on this line, was Air Moldova. Until the present Moldavian Airlines made flights to another Romanian city - Timisoara.
