Former Culture Ministry officials to be investigated
The Prosecutor General's Office (PG) determined that a private company appropriated illegally the property of SA Centrul Teatral Luceafarul, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the PG's press service.
The property of SA Centrul Teatral Luceafarul was appropriated by SRL Invizibil. The PG ordered investigating former officials of the Ministry of Culture and informed the state administration about the illegalities discovered and steps taken.
Under a Government decision published in the Official Gazette on March 7, 2008, the National Theater Luceafarul was transformed from state-run company into joint stock company and renamed Centrul Teatral Luceafarul (Luceafarul Theater Center).
The Government held 75% of the new company's equity capital, while the company called Invizibil - the remaining 25%.
