By the given agreements, the selected companies, the taxi services 1430, 1470 and 1414, pledge to provide services of a high quality, while the airport to set up a parking lot for 21 taxis, by seven places for each company.

"We chose three companies so that there is competition. W hope they will set attractive fares," Galina Telpiz, the head of the airport's marketing service, told Info-Prim Neo.

Under the regulations, the contest is open to companies that have experienced drivers and nice appearance and know Romanian, Russian and English.

The service 1407 signed such an agreement with the airport last year. This time, it wasn't selected as it did not pay the rent for an office located inside the terminal. Another company could not take part in the contest as it does not have a short dial number, Galina Telpiz said.

The airport will terminate the contract if the company does not fulfill its obligations. The contest was held the second year. Last year, it was won by the taxis services 1407 and 1430.
