Norway will introduce special visa regime for Moldovans

Moldova and Norway will soon sign an accord to facilitate the visa regime.

The agreement was reached by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca and his Norwegian counterpart Jonas Gahr Store at a meeting in Oslo, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.

The ministers discussed the political situation in Moldova and the development projects implemented in Moldova with support from Norway. The projects amount to €2.7 million a year.

Iurie Leanca said the Moldovan executive wants to extend cooperation in the field of justice. The Moldovan delegation had meetings with the state secretaries for defense and commerce and representatives of the Norwegian Institute of Defense Studies. The Norwegian companies were invited to take part in a business forum that will take place in Chisinau in May.
