The leader of the Democratic Party goes to Berlin

The leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova, Marian Lupu will make a visit to Berlin on March 15 and 16, to discuss with German officials of the legislative structure about Republic of Moldova's overcoming political crisis.

Lupu will be accompanied by Igor Corman, chairperson of the parliamentary Committee for Foreign Police and European Integration.

Lupu and Corman will meet Christoph Heusgen, Angela Merkel's foreign policy councilor, and Cornelia Pieper, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as leaders of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.

The two officials are to discuss aspects of Republic of Moldova's European integration.

Marian Lupu and Igor Corman will participate in two public discussions: "European neighboring policy - path to member statute? Republic of Moldova's case" and "Ways of overcoming crisis. Political evolutions in the Republic of Moldova", the press service of the Democratic Party specifies.
