The Ministry of Justice refused to register the Public Association „Noua Dreapta", created on October 1, 2009, because it did not submit all the necessary documents for registration.

The Ministry of Justice refused to register the Public Association „Noua Dreapta", created on October 1, 2009, because it did not submit all the necessary documents for registration

The Ministry of Justice concluded a number of weak points in the folder of documents filed for the registration of the Association „Noua Dreapta", a press release of the Ministry of Justice shows.

A separate issue that concerned the Ministry of Justice, according to the same source, is the information appeared in media that states one of the founders of the above-mentioned association joined the doctrine „Noua Dreapta" Movement of Romania, that promotes an extremist and xenophobe message, supporting the principles of legionary movement.

The Ministry of Justice refers to the Law on preventing extremist activities, according to which it is prohibited to found public associations that work following extremist activities.

„Noua Dreapta" Association submitted the documents for registration on February 18, 2010.
